They say the children are the future, which is why you do not want to miss this opportunity to benefit the future of the children at Laurelhurst Elementary. On March 22nd, 5:30 PM, a special auction night will be held at the Mountaineer’s Club in order to raise funds for the children of Laurelhurst Elementary. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or simply a neighbor to some wonderful children, you should not pass up this opportunity to do something for you community and, most importantly, for its most precious members, the children.
Here’s the scoop: the procurement team for Laurelhurst School really needs to raise $100,000 worth of donated items in order to make the auction night a great success for everyone involved. The money raised from the auction night will go towards helping the PTA in its efforts to fund all of the wonderful, exciting, fun and educational things which happen at Laurelhurst Elementary. Without adequate fundraising, many of the special events and other activities which making Laurelhurst Elementary the bustling educational center that it is simply could not happen.
As of this press announcement, the team is still short around $25,000 for the auction night. They are in need of additional donated items. If you would like to donate an item for the auction and help improve the future of children in Laurelhurst, you can do so here. If you don’t have an item to donate, you can also make a cash gift for the auction at the same website.
